Village Hall
Situated opposite Appleton Wiske Primary School at the
south end of Front Street. It is the location of many
of the village activities and sports, including :
Pre-School, Panto,
Parent & Toddler Group
,Cubs, Guides,
Tuesday morning doctor's surgery,
badminton, pilates
and many others.
Details of most activities can be found on the notice
board inside the Village Hall.
The Village Hall is available for bookings for private
functions, birthday parties and wedding receptions.

Weekly Shopping
Trip
The minibus club runs the service to Northallerton on
Wednesday morning - market day. Pickup is outside the
Post Office at 9 am - return from the rear of Morrisons
at around 11.30am..
Minibus
Use
The minibus is available to local organisations and
members of the minibus club. Drivers must be over 25
and have a MIDAS certificate.

The
Village Shop and Post Office
Located on Front Street in the middle of the village.
Village Shop sells
newspapers, confectionary, cigarettes, bread, cakes
and groceries.
Prescription
Collection & Delivery Repeat prescriptions
must be handed into The Post Office by 10am Tuesday.
Medicines are delivered to the Post Office on Wednesday
at noon for collection in the afternoon.
Tickets
are sold for various village functions such as Village
Hall dances and the Panto.
Supermarket
School Vouchers are collected on behalf of Appleton
Wiske school.

Surgery
Every Tuesday morning from 9 until 10:30 a.m a doctor
from the Mowbray House Medical Centre in Northallerton
conducts a surgery in the Village Hall.
The Village Hall Doctors Surgery is not held on bank
holidays.
