Methodist Chapel Christian Aid Week – 14 – 20 May 

Following your generosity in 2016, we are going to use the same pattern for this year. Volunteers will deliver the Christian Aid envelope to your door with information on possible drop-off points, including church, chapel and the Village Post Office i.e. no one will call to collect your envelope. Annual Meeting of the Parish Council – 8th May at 7.30 p.m.

The next Annual Meeting of the Parish Council Monday will be held on 08th May at 7:30 p.m. in Appleton Wiske Village Hall.

Speeding concerns raised in village

Several members of the village have raised concerns with regard to the speed at which vehicles travel through the village.

Hog Roast – Monday 29th August

The Hog Roast will take place on the Village Green outside the Lord Nelson from 1.30 pm till late!! Tickets at £5.00 a head are available from the Pub, Post Office, or Anne and Simon Golding.
